Conductor

I have been conducting ensembles and choirs since my mid teens. At Trinity Laban, I was taught conducting by Jonathan Tilbrook and Alexander Walker, and have conducted both classical repertoire and contemporary music.

In 2018, I was awarded the Charles Proctor Award for Choral Conducting, and since then, I have conducted in concerts and in recordings.

In my conducting practice, I am particularly concerned with generating a friendly and fun rapport with my musicians, encouraging initiative allowing the talents of a whole ensemble to shine, efficient rehearsal time, and looking out for the welfare of the entire group.
