The Hampstead Carol
This is the first of two singles that I worked on with the HiLo Singers conducted by Geoff Walker, recorded in late 2021 at St. Saviour's Church, Pimlico. I wrote the Hampstead Carol in collaboration with the poet Maia Bear in 2019, and the piece received its premiere at Christmas 2019 with the Old Royal Naval College Chapel Trinity Laban Chapel Choir.
Caelestem Dominae
Much like the Hampstead Carol, this piece was recorded with the HiLo Singers under Geoff Walker. However, this piece also has the addition of a soprano saxophone, played by Natacha Hansen. This piece is an adaptation of a piece from Hildegard von Bingen and was originally written for the choir of Canterbury Cathedral.
